The sun was shining on Åmål and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Close Man was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Vom Himmel saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Kvarngärdets Neptun sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Kvarngärdets Neptun was still in the lead after 1500m.




Kvarngärdets Neptun sat safely in the lead after 2000m.
