The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Klosterskogen this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Platinum Energy could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Close Satellite quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Close Satellite clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Slow Thrasher was disturbed and galoped 50 m.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Tough Moment galop. Tough Moment lost 30 m. Slow Thrasher galoped for 60m and was disqualified.




No-one could catch Close Satellite today who won before Speeding Thrasher and Brown Paper Bag.
