The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Image Du Jour. Cute Darkness ended up behind the leader. Bonjour Lundi got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Image Du Jour started to galop and lost 50 m.
Falling Gladiator saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.
No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Falling Gladiator followed by Sly Dragon and Insane Fiesta. Lane two Cute Darkness followed by Image Du Jour and Tigress Of Siberia.
Falling Gladiator sat safely in the lead after 2000m.
With only a little left of the race Cute Darkness galoped for 30 m. Falling Gladiator were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
Image Du Jour won the race after a spectacular finish.
