One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Ferocious Universe was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Running Boulder sprinted to the front. Loving Boy started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Mass Exodus Cherry took the lead after 1000m. Running Boulder didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Mass Exodus Cherry followed by Tough Thinking and Hard Sword. Lane two Running Boulder followed by Ferocious Universe and Royal Kronos.

Mass Exodus Cherry sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

Pas De Promettre was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Hard Sword was first on the homestretch followed by Ferocious Universe and Royal Kronos.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Confident Blast galop. Confident Blast lost 20 m. Loving Boy galopped for 50 m on the homestretch.

Running Boulder made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Ferocious Universe.
