The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Quaffable. Heavenly Ballerina ended up behind the leader. Snoezig got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Criminal Elegance suddenly started to galop. Stefan Söderkvist had to struggle to get Criminal Elegance to tror again and succeded after 10 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Punching Pirate, Criminal Elegance, Sowing Nova, Heavenly Ballerina, Snoezig, Frozen Garden, Quaffable, Alien Disorder.




Sowing Nova sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Punching Pirate galloped way to long and was disqualified.



With only a little left of the race Sowing Nova galoped for 20 m. Criminal Elegance sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.






Alien Disorder won the race after a spectacular finish.
