Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Stopping Thought sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Renew Life quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Starksomfan Pegasos sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Stopping Thought saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Opposing Rocket started to gallop after 1500m and Stefan Söderkvist had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Stopping Thought was still in the lead after 2000m.



Stopping Thought kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Light Girl galop. Light Girl lost 40 m.




Opposing Rocket won the race after a spectacular finish.
