The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Riihimäki today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Gold Thunder Speed took the lead after a very quick start.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Shasta Daisy sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Rolling Heat who started to galop and lost 10 m.

Forceful Sound sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Tricky Meadow looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Gold Lieutenant gallopped for 50 m.

Fly Me High was first on the homestretch followed by Tricky Meadow and Milk Mama.

Gold Thunder Speed galoped way to long and was disqualified. Jukka-Pekka Kauhanen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Rolling Heat started to galopp and lost 30 m.

Final standings. 1 Tricky Meadow, 2 Fly Me High, 3 The Duke.
