One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Giggling Vixen sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. driver couldn't keep Pretty Child to trotting so they were disqualified.

Giggling Vixen took the lead after 1000m.
Blue Sniper didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
Giggling Vixen was still in the lead after 1500m.
Giggling Vixen was still in the lead after 2000m.
Giggling Vixen looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
Starshine Mistress sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
