The weather had been good all week and Gävle was in good shape.
The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Opposing Orchid. Moonshiner ended up behind the leader. Turning Whirlwind got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.
Radish quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.
Muscot looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Moonlight Sky couldn't come out from behind the leader, Radish.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Radish followed by Semper Fi and Moonlight Sky. Lane two Muscot followed by Opposing Orchid and Turning Whirlwind.
Radish kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
Final standings. 1 Turning Whirlwind, 2 Semper Fi, 3 Opposing Orchid.
