One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Currant Bun could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and Djafou sprinted to the front.
Bisou Av Sveden took the lead after 1000m. Djafou didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
Djafou accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Counterfeit Ring gallopped for 50 m.
Djafou kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
Djafou kept the speed the whole finish and won before Currant Bun and Bisou Av Sveden.
