One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Resurrection could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Slippery Cube was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Slippery Cube, Welsh Bible, Carlos Why Not, Slunný Volba, Femme Humaine, Resurrection, Royal Blood, Ginola. Vieux Guerrier was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Carlos Why Not took the lead rather easily. Ginola suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m. Slunný Volba suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Carlos Why Not today. It continued in the lead. Slunný Volba started to gallop after 1500m and Jomar Blekkan had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Resurrection speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Slippery Cube was disturbed and galopped for 40 m.

Royal Blood sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
