One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Hermes Line was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. The Drosophilla, Gold Elegant Midnight, Hermes Line, Nitro Diamond, Flying Pirate, Brave Ship, Old Piece, Contrebandier.




Nitro Diamond sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Hermes Line accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Hermes Line didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Brave Ship gallopped 20 m after 2000m.



Hermes Line were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Gold Elegant Midnight never caught up with Hermes Line who won. Flying Pirate came third.
