One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Silver Legend took the lead after a very quick start.

This is the positions after 500m. Ingemar Highflyer, Focused Power, Silver Legend, Arnie Almahurst, Barefoot Forest, Rugged Sound, Little Tropic, Rumbling Mind.

The leader got disturbed by something and Focused Power took the lead rather easily.

Focused Power was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Rumbling Mind gallopped for 20 m.

Rumbling Mind was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Focused Power kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Wondering Midnight galop. Wondering Midnight lost 20 m.

Focused Power kept the speed the whole finish and won before Rugged Sound and Arnie Almahurst.
