One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Spontané tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Hank The Bank that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Big Miracle started to galop and lost 50 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Hoovering Unit, Hank The Bank, Falling Sword, Platinum Pressure, Atlantic Design, Spontané, Gorgeous Wardrobe, Wembley Player. Big Miracle was disturbed and galoped 10 m.

Falling Sword sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Hoovering Unit accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Hoovering Unit kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Gorgeous Wardrobe won the race after a spectacular finish.
