Only a humble breeze blew over Åby this day. The track where in perfect shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Volgare Siciliano. Vervuld Gulden ended up behind the leader. Gorgeous Twister got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Vervuld Gulden started to galop and lost 30 m. When the startcar left the field Toulouse started to galop and lost 40 m. Olle Goop wanted a little to much in the start and Honourable Rock galoped for 20 m.

Jumping Tank saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Volgare Siciliano who started to galop and lost 40 m.

Front Moment took the lead after 1000m. Gorgeous Twister didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Volgare Siciliano galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.

Gorgeous Twister saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Vervuld Gulden showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Toulouse put some pressure on the leader and could take over. Gorgeous Twister was disturbed and gallopped for 10 m. driver couldn't keep Di Vaio Tango to trotting so they were disqualified.

Toulouse sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Gorgeous Twister sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
