Start List
The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Årjäng today.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Guard Of Ottawa tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to The Queen that came steaming ahead.
Sex On Fire quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.
The leader got disturbed by something and Guard Of Ottawa took the lead rather easily. Fruciante Fan suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Guard Of Ottawa followed by Fruciante Fan and Sex On Fire. Lane two The Queen followed by Anina V. Belle and Thunder Beach.
Guard Of Ottawa looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Guard Of Ottawa galop. Guard Of Ottawa lost 40 m.
The Queen won. Fruciante Fan came in second. Anina V. Belle caught third place.
