The sun was shining on Vaasa today. A perfect day for trotting.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Iskender Boy sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Mauri Jaara wanted a little to much in the start and San Carlos galoped for 40 m. Cute Kentucky was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.
Iskender Boy was in fine shape and held the lead.
Fitzgerald Hof sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.
Electric Gold galloped for 60m and was disqualified.
Fitzgerald Hof sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.
Fitzgerald Hof didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
