The sun was shining on Åmål and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Lennon could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Hockey galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Sliding Valley quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Judging Rocker started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Sliding Valley was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Sliding Valley was still in the lead after 1500m.

Sliding Valley sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

There was a new leader after 2500m, Goofy Starshine.

Goofy Starshine kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Goofy Starshine galop. Goofy Starshine lost 10 m.

Strong Platinum sprinted over the finishline before Sliding Valley and Wimpy Carneval.
