One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Miss England could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Gorgeous Thought was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




Ginger Sunray quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Silly Starshine who started to galop and lost 30 m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Lonely Wish took the lead rather easily.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Silly Starshine galop. Silly Starshine lost 40 m.




Miss England won. Whispering Madame came in second. Lonely Wish caught third place.
