It had been raining for several days at Dannero but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Flickering Starshine was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Falling Runner saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Honourable Wave sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Honourable Wave followed by Barefoot Breeze and Speedy General. Lane two Flickering Starshine followed by Tough Legend and Stepping Moment.




Flickering Starshine put some pressure on the leader and could take over. Counterfeit Doll was disturbed and gallopped for 40 m.



Flickering Starshine looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Barefoot Breeze, 2 Flickering Starshine, 3 Honourable Wave.
