One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Doctor Devil sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Moscow Night suddenly started to galop. Claes Sjöström had to struggle to get Moscow Night to tror again and succeded after 40 m.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and
King City Johnson sprinted to the front.

Snapple Apple took the lead rather easily.
