One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Lancer sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and Silver City sprinted to the front.
Ipred looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Cyrus The Virus couldn't come out from behind the leader, Silver City.
Nothing seemed to be able to stop Silver City today. It continued in the lead.
Lancer seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead. Fritte was disturbed and gallopped for 20 m.
Lancer were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
The Queen was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.
Lancer didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
